Thus, his career in wood working began, first starting out by carving small figurines, but after the first year he switched to building furniture. Starting with curio cabinets he slowly began to build the company and make larger furniture and creating the company we know today.

Daniel’s Amish 7-Step Finishing Process
Daniel’s Amish creates hand-crafted furniture that will last. This is executed in a 7-step finishing process that helps to create long-lasting furniture. First step is to finish sanding the constructed furniture. Once sanding is completed the staining process begins followed by a catalyzed varnish sealer. After the sealer is applied the furniture is set to dry. After the drying process sanding is performed. Once sanding has completed the catalyzed varnish topcoat is applied and the furniture is sent to be cured.
