Innerspring Mattresses are made with coil spring construction. The coils are wrapped with a fiber or foam material. The coil shapes, gauges, density and designs can vary. Typically the more coils, the more support points the mattress will have for the sleeper.
Foam Mattresses can be made from polyurethane, memory (viscoelastic) or latex. Other materials or gels may be added. The foam is manufactured in an assortment of shapes and densities that offer different feels and comfort.
Latex Mattresses use latex foam for the support system and often the upholstery outer layer. The latex may be plant based or petroleum based.
Hybrid Mattresses combines coil support system with one or more types of foam and or gels.
