Reclaimed Barn Wood Dining

Category:

Description

Amish furniture rescuing history.

The oak wood planks from aged Amish barns are being reclaimed into dining room tables, chairs, benches and buffets. Oak trees from 1800’s and 1900’s were made into planks and beams to build the barns. These worn out barns are being dissembled. Although imperfect, the wood pieces are carefully chosen and nails removed. Tables are made from the weathered wood and finished with a natural stain and catalyzed finish for protection. Chairs are made from large beams.

The Amish farming history and the furniture making heritage is captured with the unique program by Daniel’s Amish.

Mix and match reclaimed barn wood with other woods and stains.
